We Believe
We believe that when you tithe (the first 10%) or give (above and beyond the tithe) to the local church, it is living in obedience. At The Good Fight Church we also believe that our giving is a direct reflection of the heart. Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” We believe the Lord can do exceedingly more with our money than we could investing in the world. When we give from a cheerful heart the harvest will be bountiful (2 Corinthians 9:6)!
Our Passion
Our passion for helping others was birthed from our own personal experiences with the miracles God has worked in our lives. We feel blessed to be able to share our experience, strength, guidance, and hope with others. We pray that you feel our passion, help support this vital need, and expand the footprint of The Good Fight Church.
Tithing to the Church
The stewardship of our finances is a tremendous and often overlooked area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. GIVING strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously, and in doing so, help to heal our community.
Offerings to the Church
When you GIVE over and above your tithe, your offerings support church renovations. God provided a church building in August 2015, and we are working together to create a space in which people can grow closer to God and each other! The next 12 months of renovations will surely be full of exciting challenges, small and large victories, and life-changing achievements. We’d love for your heart to jump in with ours to be a part of this community. Upon completion, the new church building will be used to facilitate our church services, children’s ministries, youth groups, academic groups, connection groups, restoration groups, and community events.
