Tribes

The purpose of getting plugged into a group can be summed up in one simple word: relationships. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why our groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
Our groups are an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching.
It is through doing life together that our problems become smaller and our focus becomes clearer. God uses others to bring healing, support, and encouragement to our lives—whether we realize we need it or not. Your group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but are an integral part of your journey.

You say "small group" we say "tribe".

Tribes are designed as a way for the body of Christ to come together just as the early church did in the beginning. They are a way to grow closer to each other through fellowship. They get back to the foundational way the Gospel community did life together. They offer an opportunity to connect on an individual level with like-minded believers who share common interests. Tribes should be organic in nature and aren’t driven by the church. They are clusters of people within the church who are doing life together. Connection groups are meant for relational discipleship and are not academic in nature.

What are our tribe about?

What are our Groups about?

Our tribes are an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching.

Joining a tribe is your next step!

We call our small groups Tribes. Why? Because we believe life is better when it’s shared. Jesus surrounded Himself with a close-knit community, and we are committed to following His lead. Tribes are where we grow together, encourage one another, and live out our faith in practical, meaningful ways.

Discipleship Tribes

These tribes are all about discipleship, accountability, growth, and healing. This accountability also promotes growth and helps you follow the way of Jesus. These groups will teach you how to develop and strengthen your relationship with Christ. They will also teach you how to disciple someone else to do the same. Discipleship tribes are for everyone and are the foundation of our growth path at the good fight church.

Why should you join a tribe.

Why should I join a group?

It is through doing life together that our problems become smaller and our focus becomes clearer. God uses others to bring healing, support, and encouragement to our lives—whether we realize we need it or not. Your group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but are an integral part of your journey.

Academic Groups

Academic groups offer discipleship through a learning environment. These groups are offered at different times throughout the week. Whether it’s a study of Genesis, Revelation, or a book study, these groups will help you gain a deeper understanding of Christ and enhance your relationship with others. Together, we press in to the Father’s purpose at the Son’s pace with the Spirit’s presence.

Restoration Groups

Restoration groups are all about discipleship, accountability, growth, and healing. These groups are designed to help you build trust and confidence, and to awaken the ability in yourself to become a disciple through the accountability within the fellowship. This accountability also promotes growth and helps you receive healing. These groups will teach you how to develop and strengthen your relationship with Christ. They will also teach you how to disciple someone else to do the same. Restoration groups are for everyone and are the foundation of our discipleship groups.
